The NCACE Operations Academy is a two-day working experience typically taking place mid-July on a NCACE affiliated campus. This academy intends to provide professionals currently employed at a career center of an institution of higher education with a deeper understanding of strategic planning, operations, budgeting, and human resource management with the context of a career center through a simulated experience. Pre-work includes watching 3-4 pre-work videos, completing reflection worksheets based on self-arranged interviews, observations, and research (approx. 10 hours), followed by joining the 2-day in-person working session.
