  The NCACE Leadership Institute is a 2-day intensive experience designed to provide members with the key strategies and techniques to effectively run an organization and to provide low-cost professional development for those who find themselves in a leadership role or have leadership aspirations.  In this dynamic and collaborative Institute experience, participants will learn about common approaches, tools, and methods used by professionals across North Carolina for developing staff and sustainable organizations. This program is also intended to provide colleagues with professional development to add to their own careers.

  This training is open to:  

   ・All collegiate and employer members of NCACE
   ・Those with the ability and willingness to meet training program expectations
   ・Individuals interested in progressing to the next level in career services/recruiting or jumping into the profession.

  The application period for the 2026 Leadership Institute opens on Feb. 2nd, 2026 and closes on Feb. 20th, 2026.

  Sessions and topics at this year's Leadership Institute will include:

  • Opening Keynote Session: The Language of Leadership: Moving from Performance to Impact, delivered by Tiffany Tate, CEO/Found, Career Maven Consulting
  • NCACE-focused leadership sessions provided by Allison Binkley, NCACE President and Geralyn Jordan, NCACE President-Elect

  Registration Fee: $100.00 per person. Fee includes registration, breakfast and lunch both days, and overnight hotel accomodations at the Truist Leadership Institute on Thursday, March 12th.

  Registration is capped at 20 participants and is first come, first-served.
