MENTOR PROGRAM

The NCACE Mentor Program is a year-long opportunity to connect with another member and:

  • Share knowledge, tips, tricks, and lessons learned within employment and career support spaces
  • Learn new approaches and ways of doing your work with more impact
  • Utilize a sounding board with someone outside your current organization

Open to both employer members and college members. Mentees typically have less than 5 years of experience in their recruiting/HR/higher ed roles, and mentors typically have 5 years or more of experience.

For more information about the benefits of participation, check out this article 24 Reasons Why Mentorship Is Important for Mentee and Mentor! (And/or read a very academic article analyzing mentoring for our fellow mentoring nerds).

Program Timeline: Applications typically open in January and close in March, with mentor-mentee matches shared with participants prior to the annual conference. Matches begin meeting in May and conclude the following May.
