Below you will find information regarding the two scholarship opportunities for the 2025 Conference - the Graduate Student Scholarship and the Professional Development Scholarship - including direct links to each application, application requirements, and more.

In an effort to expand interest and knowledge of the career counseling and college recruiting fields, and in order to encourage graduate students in relevant programs to assume a professional identity and leadership following graduation, North Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers (NCACE) has created a graduate student scholarship for the annual conference.
Qualifications:
● Current graduate student in North Carolina or accepted into a related North Carolina graduate program at the time of application
● First time attendee at a NCACE Conference
● Interest in career services, recruiting, and/or human resources as a future career
● Commitment to professional development
● Availability to attend the 2025 NCACE Conference, May 14-16, 2025 in Asheville, NC
Application Requirements:

● Answering these questions:
- Why are you interested in attending the 2025 NCACE Annual Conference?
- What do you hope to gain by attending this
conference?
● Recommendation Letter (1) – from supervisor or professor
● If entering a graduate program for Fall 2025, must provide a copy of admittance letter or other verification proof, containing name of the school and program.
Application Procedure:
● Submit the documents detailed above to the NCACE 2025 Conference Graduate Student Scholarship Committee through this Google Form by March 1, 2025.
● The scholarship recipient will be notified by March 15, 2025.
● The scholarship recipient will have until March 24, 2025 to accept the scholarship with the acknowledgement of their duties as a recipient.
● The scholarship recipient will then receive information about membership, conference registration, and virtual conference details.
Duties of Scholarship Recipient:
● Attend the conference and participate in programs and breakout sessions
● Compose a submission for the NCACE newsletter (within one month of the conference) describing their experience and what they learned
● Carry out a social media Take-over during the conference
● Act as a room host for at least one program during the conference
● Optional: Participate in the NCACE Mentorship Program for the following year (2025-2026) - More details will be provided with scholarship notification.
Benefits for Scholarship Recipient:
● 1 year NCACE Membership
● Conference Registration Fee
● Hotel Accommodations* (does not include incidental fees the recipient may incur for additional services or amenities such as room service, in-room movies, mini bar items, etc.)
In an effort to expand participation and engagement from underrepresented institutions such as community colleges and HBCUs, NCACE has created a professional development scholarship for the annual conference to support professionals whose institutions have financial constraints.
