NC State College of Ag & Life Sciences Career Expo

On Thursday, October 28, 2010, you can join over 100 employers and graduate/professional schools in showcasing your organization to students and alumni in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at North Carolina State University. This is an excellent forum for students to explore possible career opportunities and for you to increase the awareness of your organization on campus. The purpose of this Expo is to share career information and identify prospective employees for jobs and internships. You are encouraged to promote any full-time or internship openings you anticipate. Students will be instructed to bring resumes. The Career Expo is targeted towards students and alumni of the majors and degrees offered in CALS.

Community College: As Director of Job Placement, Jeannette has been an active member of NCACE for over 18 years. She has served on many committees, planned conferences and only missed 1 conference in all these years! At Wake Technical Community College, Jeannette counsels and advises students, designs and presents workshops, presents research at professional conferences and develops curricula for transition courses. Jeannette received her Master of Education, Training and Development from North Carolina State University and her Bachelor of Arts in Education from Elon University. In addition to being a leader in the career development field, Jeannette is also gifted in the art of Dressage - she and her horse Cashew participate in many events!

As Director of Career Services at CPCC, Pat has a long history in career services, both in the public and private sectors and has been a NCACE member since 1999. She first moved to North Carolina as a Senior Staffing Manager and Co-owner of Accountants Inc, a professional staffing agency. Actively serving on committees and task forces, including Employer Visitation and Charlotte Conference Co-chair, she has played a leading role in the development of “Coffee and Conversations,” one of our most successful yearly events! Pat has also been heavily involved at the national level of NACE for the past 6 years, with participation in the Career Services Assessment Task Force, Nominations Committee, Excellence Awards team, and on the Board of Directors just to name a few.
